My new plan this year!

1. commonplace  平凡    happening or  existing  in many places, and therefore not special or  unusual   EX: Of course, stories of ex-smokers  drifting  back to the  fold  are  commonplace . 2. Far-fetched  牽強的  extremely  unlikely  to be  true  or to happen EX: All this may sound a bit far-fetched, but companies are already developing ‘intelligent’ homes. 3. Prototype  原型  the first form that a new  design  of a car,  machine  etc has, or a  model  of it used to  test  the design before it is  produced EX: Within a year, the company  expects  to have a  prototype  for  military  use. 4. Vacuum   真空  a space that is completely  empty  of all  gas , especially one from which all the air has been taken away EX: His  adolescence  and young  manhood  had  occurred  in a  vacuum . 5. automation  自動化  the use of computers and  machines  instead of people to do a job EX: For example we need to provide our Members with better services and  facilities , with larger  branches  and with

我的口說能力處於一個不上不下的尷尬位置。要說一竅不通嗎？還不至於。要說能巧言善道嗎？還有段距離。基本來說，我的口說能力是勉強能溝通的。像是一般外國人向我問路時，這我答得出來。阿如果今天是要問我經濟相關的東西，那很抱歉，以我目前的能力做不到。說到這次的口說測驗，我覺得最大的問題是回答整個文章。前面幾大題大都屬於照稿念，這部分問題不大。後面要我發表意見，這倒為難我了。我比較不擅長去統整我的想法，更何況是用英文呢！總結來說我目前最大的問題，要屬這大題了吧。
